Job summary

Remedy is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will assist with lesson preparation, manage behaviour, and provide emotional and social support to pupils as needed. This is a full-time, long-term role with potential for permanent placement and ongoing professional development through

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Patience, proactivity, and adaptability.
• Solid understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing behaviour.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils needing extra help.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Encourage pupils to participate and achieve learning goals.
