Job description

ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age to work on a day-to-day / part-tine basis within the Netherton area to start from as soon as possible.

The role

This role will include:

• Offering support to both pupils and staff members across various year groups in a primary setting.
• Starting as day-to-day supply staff but with the potential to become long-term or even a permanent member of staff for the right fits.
• Working between typical school hours of 08:30-15:30.
• May be supporting the class as a whole or conducting 1:1 support.

The school

ABC Teachers work with primary schools in and around the Netherton area, all offering a warm environment for supply staff coming into the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant role, you will:

• Have had prior experience working with children in a similar setting.
• Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.
• Be able to commit to full-time work.
• Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
• Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
• Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
