Job summary

Teaching Personnel is partnering with primary schools across Torbay seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to join their teams. You will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS/KS1/KS2, plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum, and support pupils to reach their potential.

We welcome both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). QTS in the UK, strong classroom management, and DBS Update Service are expected; competitive daily rates and flexible opportunities are

• QTS in the UK is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Ability to manage diverse classrooms effectively.
• Passion for improving pupil outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and supervisory classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals.
• Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils.

Primary School Teacher - Torbay

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Torbay who are seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to join their teams.

We are looking for passionate and adaptable teachers who can deliver engaging lessons, create positive learning environments, and support pupils in reaching their full potential. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for flexibility or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum

Requirements

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references covering the last two years
