Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 3-Month Fixed Term

We are looking for a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Holmes Chapel. This short-term role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning during the spring term.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil development.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
