Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teachers to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools in Taunton. This full-time position offers opportunities across long-term, temporary, temp-to-perm, and permanent roles with flexible options and ongoing consultant support.

We welcome experienced teachers and ECTs who can deliver engaging lessons, foster inclusive classrooms, and help pupils reach their academic and personal potential.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Are passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil development.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Are adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding teaching.
• Hold an enhanced DBS through Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
