Job summary

Engage Education is partnering with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bolton to recruit a Primary Teacher. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum to support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

The ideal candidate will create an inclusive classroom, differentiate for all abilities and collaborate with TAs, colleagues and parents to drive pupil progress. QTS or equivalent is required; safeguarding and an enhanced DBS are essential.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour expectations.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor and report pupil progress.
  • Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment and differentiate for all learners.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations throughout the classroom.

Engage Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Bolton, which is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment where every child can succeed.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic, social and emotional development. You will create a nurturing classroom environment, ensuring all children are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
  • Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations throughout the classroom

Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced Primary Teacher, we would love to hear from you.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is passionate about helping every child achieve their best
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one
