Job summary

Aspire People are currently looking for Sports Coaches, Sports Graduates and experienced children's coaches to support primary schools across Manchester. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities to work with pupils in and out of the classroom.

You'll leverage experience in grassroots sport, school sports or related activities to engage and manage groups of children, while developing social and communication skills in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Sports-related degree or relevant coaching experience
• Experience coaching or working with children
• Confident communication skills
• Positive and energetic approach

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the classroom
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting with learning activities
• Supporting PE and physical activity
• Delivering or assisting with sports sessions
• Supporting pupils during break and lunchtime
• Encouraging teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
• Supporting children with SEND where required
• Helping pupils develop social and communication skills
• Supporting extracurricular activities
