SENCO - Primary School, Waltham Forest

Salary: Main Scale Pay 4-6

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: 6-week placement, 4-5 days per week, full-time, term time only

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to support a warm and inclusive Primary School in Waltham Forest as they seek an organised, confident, and passionate SENCO to join their team for a short‑term 6‑week assignment starting in January 2026. Responsibilities and Key Duties

Key duties include managing EHCP processes, advising teachers on effective strategies, leading review meetings, and maintaining accurate SEND records.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination or demonstrate significant SEN leadership experience within a primary setting.
  • Strong organisational skills, a calm and proactive approach, and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.

This short‑term role is ideally suited to an experienced SENCO who can confidently step into an established team and maintain excellent provision during a busy period.
