A local education authority in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced administrator to support the Head Teacher and Senior Management Team. Responsibilities include managing administrative functions within the school and ensuring effective policies are maintained. The ideal candidate should have experience in clerical work and proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with strong organizational and customer care skills. The role requires flexibility and accuracy in a term-time schedule, offering a starting salary of £28,520.05 pro rata.
To ensure the effective administrative functioning within the school and to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures within the school.
This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
