Job description

Alex Brayton at Desian Education Wirral is supporting a Moreton based Primary school who are seeking a full time Primary specialist Teacher to cover a long term PPA role starting in November 2025. This Wirral PPA Teacher position will be starting in November 2025 and will be for the rest of the Autumn term with the potential to extend for the full year.

The successful candidate will need to have recent experience across KS1 & KS2 and this position is also open to ECT / Early Career Teachers to apply. You will need to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and an ability to be flexible as the PPA role will range across Year 1 to Year 6. You will be supported by an experienced Head Teacher and an experienced team of teachers and support staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Covering PPA across Key Stage One & Two on a full time basis
• Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting the progress of all pupils to ensure they achieve their full potential.
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and enriched curriculum.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and development.
