Job summary

Reading Borough Council is recruiting for a Primary Phase Lead at The Avenue Special School in Reading. You will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Primary department to drive excellent progress in communication, learning, independence, and emotional regulation for pupils with SEND.

The role starts January 2027 on a full-time, permanent basis with a salary of £57,137 to £63,070 per year.

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Primary department.
