Job summary

Brackla Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our friendly teaching team on a temporary basis. The post provides essential support in the primary phase and works closely with teaching and support staff to help pupils reach their potential.

The role requires 32.5 hours per week, term time only, with a temporary contract spanning two terms (04 January 2027 to 31 August 2027). A National Vocational Qualification Level 3 or equivalent is required, and Welsh language greeting

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils across the primary phase.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Welsh language greeting ability is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the primary phase in class activities.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to plan and deliver lessons.
• Undertake 30 minutes lunch duty per day.
• Safeguarding of children is a core responsibility for all staff.
