A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support KS2 students at a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. Responsibilities include creating individualized learning plans and covering classes when needed. Ideal candidates will have a Teaching Assistant qualification and a passion for child development. Opportunities for professional development are available, and this temporary role may lead to a full-time position.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work within the school's KS2 department with classes Years 4-6. You will work closely with the class teachers to identify any learning gaps and create and implement individualised learning support plans. This may include 1-1 or group intervention with core subjects. Additionally, you may also cover the class for short periods of time in the absence of the class teacher (PPA time).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
