Job summary

A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support KS2 students at a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. About the role
  • Start- date: 5th January
  • Part-time with potential opportunity for a full-time contract

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work within the school's KS2 department with classes Years 4-6. You will work closely with the class teachers to identify any learning gaps and create and implement individualised learning support plans. This may include 1-1 or group intervention with core subjects. Additionally, you may also cover the class for short periods of time in the absence of the class teacher (PPA time).

  • Patient and calm approach when faced with challenging behaviours

  • Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
