Primary Cover Supervisors - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - £100-£120 per day (PAYE) - Full-Time or Part-Time

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting confident and enthusiastic Primary Cover Supervisors to work across a selection of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with classroom experience who enjoy working with children and supporting their learning in a range of settings.

About the role:

As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with set work.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across various subjects in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils' learning and engagement, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Work flexibly across different year groups when required.
About you:
  • Experience working in UK primary schools, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or Cover Supervisor.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a calm, professional approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
  • Right to work in the UK.
