Job summary

Envision Education is seeking a confident Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Slough for an immediate start. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, supporting pupils with learning and development and working closely with the class teacher.

Previous experience with children, especially those with additional or SEND needs, is highly desirable. You will help create a positive learning environment and provide one-to-one or small group support as

Qualifications

• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
• Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom with their learning and development.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout the school day.
