Job summary

Hunsbury Park Primary School is seeking a Class Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support every learner to thrive. You will create an inclusive classroom, use varied strategies, assess progress and communicate with parents to build partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have QTS (or be an Early Career Teacher) and be committed to safeguarding, with strong teamwork and a passion for primary education. CPD opportunities and a supportive school culture are offered.

Qualifications

• A qualified and experienced teacher with QTS or an Early Career Teacher starting their career.
• Passionate about primary education and high teaching standards.
• Knowledge of EYFS Framework and Primary National Curriculum.
• Able to set high expectations and inspire pupils.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work across year groups.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Use varied teaching strategies to engage and progress.
• Assess, monitor and record pupils’ progress using data.
