Job summary

A leading health service provider in Scotland seeks a Specialist Pharmacist for a rewarding role within the Pharmacotherapy teams across Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate will support GP practices in medicines management and promote effective prescribing while collaborating with pharmacy technicians and a dedicated team. The position offers flexibility with full-time and part-time hours and may include onsite and remote working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with a community or hospital pharmacy background preferred.
• Experience in Primary Care and medicines management is advantageous.
• Independent Prescriber training supported if not achieved.

Responsibilities

• Join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire.
• Support GP practices and community hospitals in medicines management.
• Promote quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.
