Job summary

Euro Staffs is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Belper PCN multisite team, delivering medicines optimisation across four GP practices. The post focuses on patient-facing roles, shared decision-making and improving prescribing outcomes for 46,500 patients.

You will work with Clinical Pharmacists to develop repeat prescribing protocols, contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and lead on medicines management initiatives within primary care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in medicines optimisation in primary care.
• Patient-facing skills with shared decision-making.
• Knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use.
• Carrying out medicine optimisation tasks including reviews and reconciliation.
• Leading on medicines optimisation systems across PCNs.
• Providing training on safe handling of medicines and EPS.
• Developing relationships with pharmacists and staff to support integration.
• Conducting clinical audits and contributing to quality improvement.
