A local GP practice in Cardiff is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Health Care Assistant. You will help deliver high-quality patient care while supporting registered healthcare professionals. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in a GP setting. As aHealth Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinicalteam and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care. This is anexciting opportunity for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, andeager to make a meaningful impact in Primary Care.
Clinical Duties:
Measuring and recording of physiological measurements in routine presentations
ECG recording
Diabetic Foot checks
Urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory.
Administration of B12 injections
Seasonal and routine immunisations (Flu, Pneumococcal, Shingles)
Wound care
Administrative Duties:
Stock checks and ordering
Ensuring clinical rooms are fully stocked
General housekeeping (e.g., tidying storerooms, disposing of expired stock, reporting issues)
