Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics across Uttoxter and surrounding areas. The role involves routine clinical observations, patient-facing procedures and general support within busy GP environments.

You will contribute to safe, efficient patient care by assisting with clinical tasks, recording information accurately, and helping maintain smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Experience as HCA in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident with routine patient observations.
• Strong communication and organisation.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in systems.
• Support nursing and clinical teams.
• Help maintain smooth patient flow.
