A leading insurance company is seeking a Pricing Manager to oversee a team in delivering complex pricing strategies. This role involves a blend of data analysis and people leadership, with opportunities for career growth in the insurance sector. Ideal candidates will have experience in pricing within personal lines, strong analytical skills, and a passion for team development. The position offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 and various benefits including a bonus scheme and generous pension contributions.
Whether your background is in pricing, underwriting, claims, or data science, this is a unique opportunity to broaden your impact and grow into a strategic management position.
As a Pricing Manager in our UK General Insurance Home Category, you’ll lead a team of 8 Pricing Consultants, guiding them through complex analysis and strategic pricing decisions. This is a true step‑up opportunity — ideal for someone ready to take on a 50/50 split between hands‑on pricing work and people leadership.
You’ll coach and develop a relatively junior team, helping them build confidence and capability in pricing. You’ll also work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Claims, GIA, and CUO teams — presenting insights, walking through data and PowerPoint decks, and influencing key decisions.
This role offers broad exposure across the insurance market, with the chance to build your profile and gain experience beyond the Home business line. We welcome candidates from other personal lines or claims backgrounds who bring strong product knowledge and a commercial mindset.
