Qualifications

  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Personal Lines pricing.
  • Deep knowledge of modelling techniques predominantly GLM and GBM.
  • Prior experience of using insurance pricing software like Radar.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SAS, R, Python.
  • Great attention to detail and an analytical mentality.

Pricing Manager – Protect (South)

We’re recruiting a Pricing Manager – Protect (South) within our Motor Risk Pricing team in Reigate. This team looks after the technical and live claims cost models, identifies and assesses new data sources, monitors the day‑to‑day performance of the portfolio and regularly proposes price changes based on emerging experience. Responsibilities
  • Maintain technical claim cost pricing models, ensuring accuracy and stability.
  • Assess the value and impact of new data sources.
  • Develop model monitoring reports to identify trends at the earliest opportunity.
  • Present price proposals to the appropriate forums for discussion and approval, ensuring the customer is considered.
  • Work closely with retail pricing counterparts to deliver end‑to‑end outcomes.
  • Line‑manage two analysts.
Qualifications
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Personal Lines pricing.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of modelling techniques – predominantly GLM and GBM.
  • Prior experience of using insurance pricing software, e.g. Radar.
  • Knowledge of programming languages – SAS, R, Python.
  • Great attention to detail and an analytical mentality.
