Job summary

Toyota Financial Services (TFSUK) is seeking a Pricing Business Partner to apply analytical skills and deliver MI to support the Pricing function. You will lead production of Pricing MI across products and brands and contribute to FV assessments and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Sales, Treasury, Legal and New Business to produce dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc MI. The role is hybrid with two days in the office and three from a location of your choice, with a strong focus on

• Part qualified management accountant with 2–3 years in a Finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, macros and pivots.
• Experience with Power BI for MI/dashboard reporting is preferred.
• Proven track record in developing, preparing and delivering MI to senior stakeholders.

Job description

The role in a nutshell:

Pricing Business Partner supporting the business by applying key analytical skills and delivering of impactful MI to support TFSUK’s Pricing function. Specifically, this role will look at the development and production of MI across the products and brands which will then be utilised to management to monitor regulatory requirements including Fair Value within Pricing.

About the ‘Department’:

Responsibility for pricing new and used business written by TFSUK, including Toyota and Lexus quarterly campaigns, Mazda Financial services quarterly campaigns and all Redline business, working within defined processes and policies.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the production of Pricing MI to provide oversight on pricing activity to the Product & FV Forum and Pricing committee
• Lead on the Monitoring and reporting on Retail performance of TFS plans
• Lead on Fair Value (FV) assessments activity and build on MI to support FV assessments across the 4 brands and various products
• Support management with the production of ad hoc MI to support any escalation of Pricing issues identified to the appropriate governance forum.
• Production of Wholesale MI to enable oversight and monitoring of portfolio performance to support management decision-making in this key strategic area.
• Update and maintain policies and procedures in area of responsibility.

A typical day could include:

An ordinary day would involve working with other members of the Pricing team to understand current MI and outputs to support analysis.

Reaching out and talking to other areas of the business including Sales, Treasury, Customer Services, Legal and New Business.

Building on this alongside the review of dashboards and KPIs data to understand and pull out for - messaging - trends to support business decisions. Looking for ways to do things better.

What you’ll get to own:

Key Experience & Skills:

• Part qualified management accountant with 2-3 experience of working in a Finance environment
• Intermediate Excel, i.e. formulas, macros, pivot tables, graphs
• Power BI experience an advantage
• Proven track record in developing, preparing and delivering MI

Desirable:

• Experience of regulated environment / consumer duty
• Exposure to Motor Industry
• Previous exposure to data warehouse environments
