Overview

The role of Pricing Analyst involves analysing data to develop pricing strategies that maximise profitability and market competitiveness within the retail industry. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting and finance principles to support business objectives in London.

Client Details

A global beauty company based in London that partners with leading brands to develop, distribute, and market innovative cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance products. It combines creative brand-building with data-driven strategy to deliver high-quality beauty experiences worldwide, focusing on sustainability, inclusivity, and long-term growth in the dynamic beauty industry.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate uploading of prices into the system
  • Create and maintain order forms accurately by brand throughout the region to deadline and maintaining customer files
  • Support in improving efficiency in billing systems and pricing processes
  • Support in improving the control of pricing data and distribution
  • Dealing with price claims and price queries
  • Collaborate with regional teams to release shipments on hold due to pricing
  • Assist the Manager in any ad hoc reports and competitive analysis
  • Assist in the establishment and growth of the department through supporting the roll-out of new processes cross functionally
  • Develop an extensive understanding of our customers and product assortment to become a point of contact for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
  • Communicate pricing to customers via our order forms and customer specific article forms
  • Identify long term system solutions to enable better work flow
  • Reporting and analysis for assigned Brands
  • Audit of prices in ERP system
  • New customer administration
Qualifications
  • Be process oriented
  • Have excellent analytical ability, be numerate and have a high attention to detail
  • Be proactive with excellent problem solving skills
  • Be agile with a flexible attitude, willing and able to manage multiple and potentially competing priorities
  • Have good knowledge of Excel, and ERP accountancy systems
  • Be service driven, organised with a high work ethic and dedication
  • Have flexibility to work within different time zones (UK/Europe/USA)
  • Have 4-5yrs work experience and educated to degree level
  • Previous pricing experience within the luxury retail beauty industry would be an advantage
