Join a dynamic DB Pricing team as a Pricing Actuary, delivering accurate bulk annuity quotations, managing projects, and driving innovation through technical expertise. You do need to have previous experience in BPA Pricing, but you must have demonstrable knowledge of DB Pensions or BPA.

About the Role

We're looking for a Pricing Actuary to join the DB (Defined Benefit) Pricing team. The role focuses on pricing bulk annuity deals, helping to grow the business, and supporting the delivery of great service. You'll work closely with others in the team to review and deliver new business quotes on time and accurately.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing projects and helping lead small project teams
• Looking for ways to improve processes, using tools and tech where possible
• Working closely with teams like Reinsurance and Commercial to deliver competitive pricing
• Sharing knowledge, supporting junior team members, and encouraging collaboration
• Staying curious and open to new ways of working

What You'll Need

• Solid understanding of DB pensions/bulk annuity (pricing is a bonus!)
• Knowledge of life insurance and related regulation
• Good Excel and programming skills (Python, Julia or VBA preferred)
• Experience in pensions, insurance, or finance
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• FIA qualification or close to qualifying (max 2 exams remaining)
