• Experience with or similar to power presses ranging from 16-32 tons.
• Proficient in operating rolling and threading machines.
• Knowledgeable in cap lining and gang slitting machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over press machines for optimal performance.
• Adjust parameters to meet production standards.
• Monitor and address equipment issues proactively.
• Identify tooling problems and collaborate for resolutions.
• Assist in planning and executing production line changeovers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train Senior Operators on equipment adjustments.

Location: Huddersfield

Hours: Rotating Shifts (6 AM - 2 PM / 2 PM - 10 PM)

Salary: IRO £32K-£33K PA + benefits

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently set up and change over press machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust machine parameters to meet production standards and maintain product quality.
• Proactively monitor and address issues with presses, rolling machines, slitters, and related equipment.
• Identify tooling problems and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
• Assist in planning and executing production line changeovers to meet targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and productivity.
• Train team members, including Senior Operators, in equipment adjustments and best practices.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
