Job description

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter/Programmer/Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brake machines to shape and bend metal materials according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of press brake operation, programming, and tooling setup, while ensuring high-quality production and meeting safety and efficiency standards.

Various shifts available: 6am - 2pm, 8am - 5pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Press Brake Setup: Set up and configure press brake machines for each production job. Select appropriate tools, dies, and materials based on drawings and specifications. Adjust machine settings, such as pressure, stroke length, and bend angle, to meet project requirements.
  • Programming and Operation: Write, modify, and optimise CNC press brake programs for different bending processes. Operate press brake machines to produce high-quality parts within specified tolerances. Load materials and verify their quality before starting production runs.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to specifications. Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure product quality and machine performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Provide feedback on process improvements and assist in training junior operators, when needed
