Job description

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC Brake Press machines (Edward Pearson & Bystronic) using Cybelec controls.

Set up and run pre-programmed jobs according to production requirements.

Ensure work is produced to the correct quality standards and specifications.

Read and interpret engineering drawings where necessary.

Perform regular quality checks during production.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Report any issues with machinery or production to supervisors promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC Brake Press machinery.
• Familiarity with Edward Pearson and Bystronic presses (advantageous).
• Experience with Cybelec control systems preferred.
• Ability to work accurately and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• No programming experience required - all jobs are pre-programmed.

Hourly Rate

£13.50 per hour

Hours of work

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:15 PM
