Job summary

Allied Vehicles in Scotland is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our Operations team. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, read engineering drawings and produce precision components to meet quality standards.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our Operations department. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience operating press brakes.

You’ll play a key role operating press brake machinery to produce precision components, following engineering drawings, completing quality checks and supporting the delivery of high-quality products.

Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday, 9pm – 7am and Thursday 8pm – 6am, working just 4 nights per week! The salary is up to £21.01 per hour, depending on experience + bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately set up and operate press brake machinery.
• Manufacture components to the required quality standards, identifying and escalating any issues where work falls below specification.
• Complete all relevant company documentation, including daily and weekly inspection checklists.
• Follow company procedures and contribute to a safe, efficient, and productive working environment.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bend components to specification.
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, quality standards, and cost-effective working practices.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
