Job summary

Operose Health in Horsham is seeking a Pharmacist to join Park Surgery, delivering prescribing, online and telephone triage, and management of minor illness within a supportive multi-disciplinary primary care team.

You will apply clinical judgement to make safe decisions and contribute to innovative service delivery, with 37.5 hours per week and opportunities for development. GPhC registration is required; general practice experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist registered with the GPhC and a Pharmacy degree are required.
• Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in prioritisation and decision making.
• Previous general practice experience is desirable.

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 (Monday - Friday 9-5)

Main Responsibilities

• Prescribing, online and telephone clinical triage, management of minor illness and LTC advice.
• Delivering safe, clinical decisions and expert care as well as working collaboratively with all team members of a multi professional team and driving innovation, modernisation and high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role.
• Previous general practice experience is desirable.
