Job summary

Wessex Learning Trust is seeking a Level 3 qualified Preschool Supervisor for Lympsham C of E Academy near Weston-Super-Mare. The role is term-time, permanent, 13hrs 15mins per week with a flexible pattern between 7.45am and 5.30pm.

You will help provide a high-quality learning environment for young children, follow EYFS and safeguarding policies, and work with families and staff to achieve the best outcomes. Salary £26,847 FTE.

Qualifications

• L3 qualified in early years education.
• Understanding of the Statutory Framework and safeguarding.
• Experience in a preschool setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
• Follow EYFS, safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Engage with parents and other professionals to support children.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking to appoint a L3 qualified caring and enthusiastic Preschool Supervisor to join us in our expanding Preschool which is at the heart of the village. We support one another as we work to provide a quality learning experience for all our children in a fun environment. Applicants will need to show knowledge of and work within the requirements of the Statutory Framework, have a good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection and be able to follow and implement the policies and procedures of the setting.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

• Confident, caring and friendly attitudes
• Excellent communication skills, competently liaising with parents and other professionals
• Flexibility, teamwork, and supportive of other practitioners in the setting
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, secure and nurturing environment
• Good working knowledge of the EYFS
• Commitment and passion to promoting the ethos and values of the school and getting the best outcomes for all children
