Job summary

Shoreham Village Pre-School in Sevenoaks is seeking a proactive leader to support the Manager with the daily operation and to take charge in their absence.

You will guide staff to deliver high quality Early Years education, promote children's development, wellbeing and safeguarding, and build strong relationships with children, families and carers. There may be potential to become SENCO or Safeguarding Lead with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager with the leadership and daily operation.
• Take charge of the setting in the manager's absence.
• Support and guide staff to deliver high quality Early Years education.
• Promote children’s learning, development, wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Potentially undertake the role of SENCO or Safeguarding Lead. (Full training given)
