Job summary

SSRN, part of Elsevier, is seeking to accelerate the dissemination of early-stage research and to build a world-class preprint server. The role focuses on increasing SSRN’s visibility, expanding strategic partnerships, and guiding global expansion, with emphasis on opportunities in China and India.

You will collaborate across teams to improve workflows and drive AI-led initiatives, ensuring a strong author experience and broad discoverability across major indexes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director in developing and executing strategies to increase SSRN’s visibility, recognition, and influence
• Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with funders, industry bodies, and key organisations including society publishers
• Contribute to SSRN’s positioning as a trusted and recommended preprint server
• Contribute to internal strategic projects to improve workflows, standards, and best practices
• Support high-impact initiatives, including AI-led projects and policy implementation
• Work cross-functionally to improve discoverability and indexing (e.g. PubMed, Web of Science)
• Support the Director in identifying and progressing opportunities for global expansion, particularly in China and India
• Liaise with analytics and processing teams to inform strategic decisions and progress
