Job summary
Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Chesterfield is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to support customers across the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges. This 40-hour week role has no weekend work and includes a £4,000 sign-on bonus, with progression through manufacturer training including EV and electrical training.
You will work on premium vehicles, developing specialist knowledge in diagnostics, hybrid and EV tech, backed by manufacturer accreditation pathways.
Qualifications
- A relevant formal qualification, such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, or equivalent.
- Current hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment.
- Your own set of tools.
- A full UK driving licence.
- MOT Tester status advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs with precision, care and attention to detail.
- Diagnosing, repairing and servicing vehicles to the highest standards.
- Applying your technical expertise to routine, diagnostic and complex repairs.
- Taking pride in delivering quality results and building customer trust.
