Qualifications

• Experience in internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Ability to prepare surfaces: filling, sanding, priming, and undercoating.
• Must comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces for a professional finish.
• Hang wallpaper or wall coverings where required.
• Assist with minor remedial works and decorative repairs.

Skills

Proven experience as a painter and decorator

Education

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent City & Guilds)
