Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join the housekeeping team. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and process items, and ensure guests receive impeccably presented linen, towels, and uniforms.

You’ll contribute to a clean, efficient laundry area and support the broader team in daily operations. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is welcomed, with opportunities for training and career development within Soho House.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or similar environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, press, and fold linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report them as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room.
• Follow procedures for guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
• Ensure stock of clean linen and uniforms is maintained and distributed.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control of laundry supplies.
