Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a Gardener to maintain landscapes, plant beds and keep grounds in excellent condition across our estates. You will ensure tidy, well-presented external spaces and support owners with a high standard of service.

The role requires a driving license and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily duties, with a focus on consistency and professional presentation for our residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or gardening sector.
• Can-do attitude and organised approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and standards-driven.
• Willing to learn and develop.
• Hands-on and flexible with duties and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Water and feed border plants, tubs and shrubs regularly.
• Cut lawn and bed edges every 8 days Mar–Nov, at least four times in winter.
• Keep ponds, water features, paths, patios, drives and forecourts weed-free and clean.
• Trim hedges and shrubs as required.
• Rake up leaves in the winter period.
• Prune and thin plants roses, shrubs and small trees mainly in winter.
• Maintain a garden log book.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation.
• Report faulty or damaged equipment or machinery to the person in charge.
• Participate in theme events/open days for owners.
• Participate in stock taking as required.
• Use the correct equipment/appliances/tools as instructed by the manufacturers.
• Maintain professional relationship with owners/next of kin/representative.
