Qualifications

• Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Strong mechanical background with workshop experience.
• Experience operating workshop machinery and measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, maintenance and machining practices.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and supervision light.
• Good problem solving and proactive approach.
• Well organised, methodical and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out workshop tasks safely and in line with policies.
• Maintain calibration readiness and equipment serviceability.
• Plan and organise workshop activities to support projects.
• Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Assist with loading/unloading and mobilising equipment for site ops.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections and stock.
