Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Toolroom Operative / Toolroom Grinder in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The role involves operating toolroom grinders and producing components to drawings, with a rotating days/nights shift and on-the-job training.

Salary ranges from £29,669 to £36,053 plus training, long-term stability, overtime, a bonus and 25 days holiday. This is a permanent position within a well-established manufacturer emphasizing quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous grinding/toolroom experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable with rotating days/nights shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate toolroom equipment: universal, cylindrical and surface grinders.
• Produce components to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Support CoilThread with arbor pin manufacture and die regrinds.
• Work a 2 weeks days pattern and 2 weeks nights pattern, with overtime as needed.
• Contribute to method improvements to boost efficiency and output.
