You will work independently and with others to meet exacting tolerances, mentor apprentices and uphold safety, quality and HR policies within a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes reading and interpreting engineering drawings, continuous improvement, and involvement in training.

Qualifications

• Time served Toolmaker/Machinist with Mechanical Fitting skills.
• Proven experience within the Toolmaking / Machine shop industry.
• Confident to engage with all levels of the business.
• Logical and analytical approach.
• Efficient, with good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn from others and share best practice.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and to fine detail.
• Mentor apprentices and support training.
