Job summary

DREICOR INC is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal components such as ducts and furnace casings in construction environments. Responsibilities include laying out dimensions, selecting materials, drilling, welding and finishing parts to specification.

The role requires on-site work, operating fabrication tools, and transporting prefabricated parts to sites for assembly. Safety and quality standards apply throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Lay out, measure and mark dimensions per drawings using rulers and calcs.
• Move and anchor completed units into position for installation.
• Install ducts, furnace casings and related assemblies.
• Select sheet metal gauges and materials per specs.
• Drill and punch holes for screws and rivets.
• Join seams with welds, bolts or solder.
• Fabricate or modify parts on site with hand tools.
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding and deburring.
• Finish parts with cutting tools.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Transport prefabricated parts to sites for assembly.
