McLaren Racing in the United Kingdom is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure compliant composite, metallic or tooling parts are released to the next operation after inspection. You will verify critical features and measure attributes across racing components before build.

The role requires an engineering background, GD&T knowledge, and experience using modern inspection software such as PCDIMIS, Polyworks and GOM Inspect.

Formación

• A fully indentured engineering background in precision engineering or similar industry.
• Experience of composite inspection and manufacturing process is required.
• Experience working within an inspection department using modern and conventional technology to measure precision components.
• Experience using PCDIMIS, Polyworks, VX Elements, GOM Inspect, Faro/Power Inspect would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of GD&T is required.
• Exemplary attention to detail is a must.
• Fully computer literate, including use of an MRP system.

Responsabilidades

• Final Race Car Parts - Verify all critical features prior to release for build.
• Sub-Components - Inspect all required features before progressing to the next manufacturing operation.
• Tooling Parts - Measure all necessary attributes before release to subsequent operational stages.
