Job summary

A leading precision engineering firm in Leyfields is seeking a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to conduct thorough inspections of precision components for various industries including aviation and automotive. The ideal candidate should have substantial CMM programming experience and a strong background in quality standards. This role offers a salary of £35,360 per year, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• CMM programming experience with QCT and Mitutoyo software is essential.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform first off, in process and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Work within AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
• Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Personnel and quality related team.

Skills

CMM programming experience

Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Use of Microsoft Office

Understanding of measurement evaluations
