Job summary

Stirling Warrington in the United Kingdom is seeking a QA Technician to join the manufacturing quality team in the Lichfield area. You will carry out inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards throughout the production process.

You will work closely with production and engineering teams, read engineering drawings, and maintain accurate quality records while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as QA/Quality Inspector in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and customer requirements
• Use measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation accurately
• Assist in identifying and investigating non-conforming products
• Support corrective actions and root cause analysis activities
• Participate in internal quality checks and audit activities
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve quality performance
• Help maintain quality systems and documentation in line with company procedures
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a clean working environment
