Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join our precision engineering manufacturing site in Redditch. You will be finishing metal components to tight tolerances, using air powered hand tools, grinders and polishers, in the finishing department.

The ideal candidate will have experience reading engineering drawings and working with hand tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings in a mechanical assembly role.
• Proficient with hand tools used in precise manufacturing.
• Ability to work in finishing operations with deburring, fettling and polishing.

Responsibilities

• Finish precision engineered metal components to tight tolerances using hand tools.
• Fettle, deburr and polish metal parts in the finishing department.
• Work within the finishing team applying air powered tools as required.
