Job summary

TN Talent Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Assembly Fitter for a permanent, full-time role in Nottinghamshire. You will assemble precision components and structures to engineering drawings and specifications, using hand and pneumatic tools in a busy manufacturing environment.

The position requires experience in mechanical assembly, drilling, rivet work, deburring, bench fitting, and reading drawings, with strict attention to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous engineering or manufacturing assembly experience is essential.
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret work instructions.
• Experience with drilling, riveting, deburring, bench fitting and using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision components and structures to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out mechanical assembly and fitting operations.
• Perform drilling, countersinking, filing and deburring as required.
• Rivet and fit a variety of specialist fasteners.
• Bench fit and hand fitting tasks using hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• Work with jigs and fixtures and press-fit components when needed.
• Apply sealants and bonding materials and verify fit using measuring tools.
• Read drawings and production instructions and complete traceability documentation.
• Maintain quality, safety and manufacturing standards in a busy environment.
