Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a detail-oriented Line Operative in Clevedon for a busy manufacturing team. This full-time, temporary/ongoing role runs on a 40-hour week with early start times and day shifts.

You will perform fabric preparation, punching, thermal sealing, and line duties while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Training will be provided to develop accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity for precise cutting, punching, and shaping.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on exact measurements.
• Able to work at a steady pace in a busy production line.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to quality output.
• Experience in textiles, upholstery, or light manufacturing is a plus, with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Fabric Preparation: precise cutting of fabrics to exact specs.
• Punching & shaping: accurately punch and prepare hole sections in fabric panels.
• Thermal Equipment Operation: use heat tools to seal and shape fabric components.
• Line Operations: work smoothly on the production line adhering to quality and safety targets.
• Housekeeping: maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation.
