CMS Recruitment is recruiting Electronics Inspector roles in Greenwich, SE10, for a busy production environment on behalf of a global telecommunications company. The position is an ongoing long-term contract with day shifts and night shifts on a two-week rotation.

Inspectors will work in a clean room style environment, handling electro-optical and mechanical units for subsea telecom equipment, with emphasis on precision, safety, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in similar Inspection or Quality Control is required.
• Inspectors are assigned to various departments, with each role contributing to the creation of high-specification products, adhering to specific requirements.
• All work is carried out in an Electrostatic Protected Area.
• Safety compliance: follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Inspection & Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of electro, optical, and mechanical units to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review & Documentation: Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and elevate issues with equipment or processes to ensure smooth operations and quality of the product.
