Job summary

Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator for a precision manufacturing team in Livingston. You will set up and run CNC milling machines, read detailed engineering drawings, and perform quality checks to ensure components meet exacting specifications.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Proficient in using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machine to produce high-precision components.
Interpret engineering drawings and files to ensure exact tolerances.
Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using verniers, micrometers.
Monitor machine performance, adjust offsets, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist in secondary operations or setup tasks using manual lathe skills.
Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation.
Keep a clean, organised workstation and adhere to Health & Safety procedures.
