Job summary

Ashby Finance in Woking is seeking a Paint Sprayer to join our production team on a 3-month Inside IR35 contract, with potential extension. You will work on low-volume, high-performance vehicles and ensure finishes meet the highest standards, with hours 7:30am–4:00pm Mon–Fri and potential for shifts or weekend work.

Key tasks include following detailed paint instructions, ensuring quality at every station, timely completion, teamwork to resolve issues, and maintaining a clean, safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous automotive paint spraying experience is highly desirable.
• Foundation in engineering or experience in automotive/manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience with composite lay-up, diagnostics, mechanical repair or bare metal repair is beneficial.
• Quality-focused with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to the painting of vehicles.
• Ensure all station operations on each vehicle meet required quality standards.
• Ensure all operations are completed within the timescale.
• Work with the team to resolve issues affecting quality, cost or productivity.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and orderly at all times per brand expectations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in safety activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested.
